Excellent location, 5 minutes walk from Asok BTS, connected to Terminal 21 which houses an amazing food court. Convenience store just around the corner. Along the way to BTS there are a dozens of small but good massage places, where I got my massages daily. Room is spacious and clean. Staffs were all sweet and helpful. Would stay again.

Perfect hotel for what we were looking for! Needed a convenient location to land for our first trip to Bangkok, we knew we'd be exhausted on arrival and chose the Arte Hotel because it seemed close to everything, but on a quiet street. It was the perfect find. Easy access to transportation, lots of tasty restaurants in the neighborhood. We loved their breakfast buffet, the noodle soup station was the best of our entire Thailand trip.

“WONDERFUL STAFF BUT.......Slavish Attention (or is it Enslavement) to Groups from one part of the world does not work for me, nor many travellers like me.” I hate to have to write this, but the property needs to know..... 1) The Good News! The staff are wonderful. Smiles, conversation, eager to help. Special "shout out" to Housekeeping (I stayed in #517) and the Ladies serving Eggs and Noodles at breakfast! 2) The cabinets in rooms are de-laminating, chipping, cracking and swelling due to humidity. When the rooms are finally upgraded, another material altogether must be chosen. Cheap does not work in humidity! Otherwise the room design was good, great bathroom, tub and comfortable bed! 3) Sadly the hotel has a "feel" of a "Bus Station" in a couple of unpleasant cities I can think of in NE Asia. Breakfast should be pleasurable? The food is great! The company is not. Many rude and pushy "newbie tourists" that you wish would have stayed home for the national break! When breakfast feels like a "feeding frenzy" amongst a school of overfed carp it's NOT a good formula. 4) Then there is the pool, dominated by punkish "boys", in BKK for a weekend of "full massages", recuperating from their hangovers and chain-smoking ashes into the pool. 5) I am so sorry to have had to write this but, I as a long-time business traveller to BKK will be moving to a competitor hotel 100m away - they have not capitulated to "group travel package" segment yet and I think they must know better. Arte Hotel Team.....it's not too late but changes to rooms and marketing focus MUST be undertaken. GH

The service at this hotel is unsurpassed by even the top 5 star places I have stayed. They could not have been more accommodating or kind. I arrived around 9am after 30 hours of travel and although check-in isn’t until 14:00, when I explained my situation they found me a room to go to immediately. I had vacuum sealed bags to help condense my belongings so they’d fit into my suitcase and even though housekeeping doesn’t use vacuums (no carpet in the hotel) when I was leaving they ended up calling the maintenance who found something and came to assist me. The location is great - half a block from Terminal 21 and the BTS and a few blocks from the always hilarious touristy Soi Cowboy. There are tons of restaurants in the area and a lot of great massage places. I recommend Senses - I thought they were the best of the ones I tried. I was only there one night, en route home, so I didn’t have time to explore a lot outside of the block or so where I stayed. The pool is very clean and well maintained, beautiful, and they even have inflatables so you can float while relaxing. The end of the pool has a built-in bench with jets for the legs and back. Truly wonderful. The only bad point was the horrible family with unruly and terribly behaved children, all screaming incessantly - there is no staff in the pool area to ensure that guests are courteous and follow rules, so I had to end my time there (after being splashed continuously and having a float literally pulled out from under my body). From start to finish, the hotel provided a truly great experience and I will certainly stay again when I return to Bangkok.
